Ditch Road is a beautiful loop north of Sioux Falls to Baltic and back. We recommend starting at the Fernson Taproom, but you could also get to Ditch Road by getting off the bike trail north of the airport.

Ditch Road gets it's name from the drainage ditch it follows. Watch for lots of wildlife and birds on this route. Strawbale Winery adds 3 miles to the route, but it is worth a stop. There is also a new cafe at the 1/2 way mark in Baltic, Someday Cafe.

Good to know: The eastern 1/2 of the loop is mostly flat and the western 1/2 is much more hilly.
